Prevent Nearby Share from Loading on Startup [Windows]

Save some system resources by starting Nearby Share only when you need it

Nearby Share is a Windows app that lets you transfer photos, videos, documents, and other files easily between your Android device and Windows computer.

By default, it automatically loads on Windows startup. To prevent this, do the following:

  • Click Start, then type s
  • Look for “Startup Apps”, and click on it
  • In the Startup Apps window, look for “Nearby Share”
  • Toggle off to disable it on startup
