I’ve been playing around with my hosting options for the site recently. Originally I was hosting it on one of these (which is also my Netflix box), but my home Internet isn’t 100% reliable and my ISP won’t give me a static IP, plus setting up spam filters for a self-hosted WordPress wound up being a pain. Hence I decided to stop self-hosting. Now my blog is on WordPress.com and hosting for my main site is provided by a hosting cooperative called Hcoop.net. So far so good!
