I'm kind of done with Matt Mullenweg's Enshittification of Wordpress

I’ve wrote a few things about Matt The Asshat Mullenwanker ever since his own team at Tumblr dissassociated themselves from the prick for just being a general asshole, then of course there was that whole thing he had with WP Engine, then deciding that fuck the WP community Autoshattic will do what it want.

However, this, is far too much. I can’t be dealing with collaborators with the fash and I need to basically get my shit off #WordPress for good.

I’m lucky in the respect that I have put a whole lot of time in to working with #Plume to effectively create a backup of my own work going back to LiveJournal, a couple of WordPress things, and even that fun period with TypePad. Is it stable, who really knows software wise since the maintainers admit they don’t have a lot of time and another who is really holding the fort to keep it breathing.

See if I was the kind of rich that this at phototwatt is instead of licking the ring of fash trash, I’d be employing the maintainers of Plume who have created something great and others like them who don’t always get to enjoy the fruits of their labour because #capitalism be like that.

Anyways, as usual I just started to ADHD ramble all over the place, for me what does this mean. Well as of today the oh.mg project is dead in its current form. I will zombie it for a while until I can work out how to extract the content from WordPress, reformat it in to Gemtext and integrate it directly in to the content from the mmn.ca website and the mmn.on.ca gemini capsule
