You probably haven't heard of Thibault Kuten, but he is the owner of one of the largest personal finance websites in the world! His site- Finance Friday covers everything on personal finance!
ME: Thibault, thanks for joining us!
Thibault: Thanks for having me Star!
ME: So what was the premise of you starting Finance Friday?
Thibault: Ok, so I've always had a love for information and money. My dad was a banker and my mom was a teacher. As such, I have always tried to combine them! I was reading an article one day, and it was something like "Less than 10% of Americans have more than $1,000 in savings!" This shocked me! People can argue the reasons until kingdom come for all I care. Or, we can change it. And that's what I did, and Finance Friday is my mouth piece for that!
ME: Ok, why did you call it that?
Thibault: Ok, so I really, and I mean really, like alliteration, so I was determined to get the name of my site to rhyme. I was looking at which day I could write the articles for the new site, and Friday's seemed to be the only day. And then it struck me: Finance Friday! And then, the sky was the limit! Nobody had even tried to register the domain name! Stupid really!
ME: So, Thibault, where do you see the site in a years' time?
Thibault: Even bigger! Each day, we are attracting more and more eyeballs, and I can only see that growing! I can see us getting even bigger! I can't wait!
