Testing: Plume documentation and markdown

Plume seems to be fairly minimal and in development right now, and I'm grateful to have a place to try it out. I'm very excited about the possibilities of federated servers & social media, although I can see its pitfalls as well. It would be nice to have a federated blogging platform--I like Mastodon, but to me microblogging and full-length blogging are different things.

I found this documentation on GitHub, which seems fairly minimal and doesn't have a lot fo the stuff I'm used to in blogs, including media uploads.

For that I guess I can try an externally hosted image using Markdown? Something like:

Enough to explore, but still lots of development ahead.

I'm also glad to have a place to try it out and glad to have separate services for long-form and micro blogging.
