4 Crusaders of the American Army and 10 Murtaddin of the Counter-Terrorism Unit were Killed

A Private Source Reveals to an-Naba Details of the Clashes with the American and Rafidi Forces on al-Khanukah and Makhmur Mountains

A private source Exclusive revealed to an-Naba parts of the epic jihadi battle carried out by a group of Islamic State soldiers against the American and Rafidi forces, supported by heavy aerial support, in the 2 areas of Mount Khanukah and Mount Makhmur.

7 Members of the American and Rafidi Forces were Killed and Wounded

The source told an-Naba that on Monday, 30 Jumada al-Akhira, a group of Khilafah soldiers engaged in confrontations with Rafidi Counter- Terrorism forces, supported by American forces and aerial support, during an airdrop operation on Mount al-Khanukah towards the south of Shirqat. The confrontation lasted for about 10 hours, and resulted in the death of 5 members of the Rafidi Counter-Terrorism and the injury of at least 2 of the American forces, and all praise is due to Allah.

Fierce Clashes Lasted During the Entire Night

Likewise, the field source said the enemy forces started their airdrop operation on the area on the night of Monday/Tuesday. Shortly after, fierce clashes erupted between the attacking force and the Khilafah soldiers, who were in the site, and lasted during the night hours, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of them, and the foiling of their advance.

The source added that after their failure to advance towards the mujahidin’s positions, and as usual, the American air force intensively bombed the area to open the way before their forces. Then, on Tuesday morning, their forces advanced towards the area which they failed to enter the night before after it was flattened with aerial bombing.

The Source Denies the Rafidi Media Claims

The source denied to an-Naba the Rafidi media claims, regarding the killing of 39 mujahidin during that operation. The source says that the number of mujahidin who were killed during the bombing and the clashes did not exceed 7 of them, may Allah accept them. It confirms that the mujahidin, who repelled the attacking forces, fought fiercely and bravely, killing 5 of them and wounding others. The attacking forces could not make any advance on the ground before the barbaric aerial bombing, as the usually do every time.

It is worth noting that the Rafidi media confessed of the injury of only 4 of its soldiers during the clashes, without specifying the type of injury. Also, it confessed in its statements that the clashes with the Khilafah soldiers lasted for more than 10 hours, and that their campaign on al- Khanukah area came as a result of the increase of the mujahidin’s activities there.

Another Epic Battle in Makhmur Mountains

In a similar operation, on Sunday, 13 Rajab, the Khilafah soldiers foiled another airdrop by the American forces and the Rafidi Counter-Terrorism forces on Mount Qarah Chukh towards the south of Makhmur. Fierce clashes erupted, and lasted for 6 hours, between the Khilafah soldiers in the area and the attacking force members, and supported by war planes. The clashes resulted in the death of 2 American soldiers of their Marines and 3 of the Counter-Terrorism forces and the injury of 2 others, and all praise is due to Allah.

The Lies of Rafidi Wouldn’t Stop

Regarding the number of the mujahidin killed in that operation, the private source said to an-Naba that 10 of the mujahidin were killed during those confrontations and during the aerial bombing. It denies the lies about the big numbers claimed by the Rafidi media, which never stops lying.

The source clarifies that despite the big number of the attacking forces, the modern ammunitions used by them, and the big number of airplanes filling the sky, they failed to capture any of the Khilafah soldiers, by Allah’s grace.

Additional Forces and a Crane to Recover Their Dead!

The American army was forced to confess on the next day of the death of its 2 soldiers during the clashes, by saying: "Two U.S. service members were killed by enemy forces…while on a mission to take out a mountainous Islamic State stronghold."

Regarding the difficulty of that mission, the spokesman of the Crusader coalition, Caggins, said that their army was forced to "deploy additional forces to recover the dead in an effort that took roughly six hours." Another American official added that "a crane was needed to recover the corpses of the 2 killed soldiers after they fell in a cave whole" in the mountain terrain.

With regards to the failed operation, the former American envoy to the Crusader coalition, McGurk, said, on Monday: "2 American soldiers were killed in Iraq in a firefight against the Islamic State… It took some six hours for American special forces to extricate the bodies of their comrades." "Something is not right," he added. He confessed:"We seem to have lost focus on the mission."

Reconsideration After the “Sunday Mission”

The death of the American soldiers forced the leaders of the Crusader Pentagon to "reassess how future mission will be conducted in Iraq and Syria."

They said in a statement to a famous American newspaper that “the reassessment stimulated by the special circumstances surrounding Sunday’s mission, will give careful consideration to how American forces give advice to the local Iraqi force and its allies.”
