Testing

So I'm quite excited about Plume. My blogging muscles are seriously atrophied after too many years of dissatisfaction with most of the other offerings. There's either no markdown support or ads blinking everywhere or it's too convoluted or interaction is all random likes from people I have nothing in common with who only like in hopes that you'll visit them and there's no interoperability between platforms...

So yay Plume and yay federation and yay markdown and yay multiple blogs per username(!). I think my only discomfort so far is that it's forcing a capital letter at the beginning of blog names, and my name is all lower case, so if I want a blog with my name as the title it capitalises it incorrectly. But I'm hoping that'll change as things advance.
