Teambuilding exercises

nothing brings a team together like the hatred for teambuilding exercises

Lucy (names may (or may not) have been changed to comply with international laws) has an announcement today at the meeting. She has spent weeks coming up with the perfect 3 days long team-building event filled with 'fun' activities.

Some employees look around among themselves. That dreaded time of the year has come once again.

But even if you hate these events, that's fine too. A drill sergeant doesn't want to be loved. His recruits can bond over their displeasure.

An office can not put their employees through a bootcamp, so they instead put them through a 'fun' event that's a bootcamp-lite in disguise. If you enjoy it, that's great. If you don't, you can grumble about it with other non-enjoyers afterwards.

And Lucy spent a lot of time working on this. After all, HR people don't often get a chance to do non-flowchart work. So don't piss on the cake just because you are trying to minimise your sugar intake. Just get carpal tunnel and watch the kids play.
