Freedom is the ability to do as one pleases. Alone the need for survival makes us unfree as we are forced to earn our living, many times in dire material and interpersonal conditions.
That not being enough, we voluntarily enslave ourselves to desires of material security, material wealth, but also to luxury, showoff, false prestige, or fake status symbols.
Is there a way out?
