Hello World

Another day, another platform, another blog. :-)

I'm just a few weeks into the #Fediverse again now and I have to say: I'm kinda intrigued by the idea to have a whole set of tools at my disposal that are decentralized on the one hand and can communicate between each other on the other hand.

Since restarting on Mastodon with a new account a few weeks ago, I really see big potential in all of that. I also started writing in English and so far, I enjoy both practicing my writing and having to put a little bit more thought in my posts.

Therefore, it just seems to be consequent to start another blog that supports ActivityPub [Wikipedia] where I also write in English. Soooo, here we are.

To be honest, I'm not sure if this is the final destination. However, you gotta start somewhere. And so far, I like the philosophy of Plume. And I'm curious what the 1.0 version will look like!

The main use will probably be to both archive and extend some of my Mastodon activities for a longer-term use.

Also, feel free to @ me regarding typos, grammar mistakes and all other inquiries about my English. Or German. :-)
